Job Description
An exciting opportunity has opened for a
**Development Scientist specializing in LC\-MS bioanalysis**
to join a growing R\&D team within a state\-of\-the\-art bioanalytical laboratory in
**Gothenburg**
.
In this role, you will contribute to the development of innovative analytical methods that support pharmaceutical and biotech clients across all phases of drug development. Working within a collaborative research environment, you will design and execute experiments, develop and validate bioanalytical methods, and lead technical troubleshooting initiatives using advanced mass spectrometry technologies.
This position offers the chance to work with cutting\-edge instrumentation and play a key role in delivering scientific solutions that help bring life\-changing medicines to patients.
Key Responsibilities
Method Development \& Validation
* Independently develop, optimise and validate bioanalytical methods using
**Liquid Chromatography–Mass Spectrometry**
.
* Design and execute experiments to support analytical development projects.
* Perform method transfers and troubleshooting for complex analytical workflows.
Data Analysis \& Reporting
* Interpret and review analytical data to ensure accuracy, compliance and scientific integrity.
* Write and review study protocols, validation reports and technical documentation.
* Ensure compliance with
**Good Laboratory Practice**
and
**Good Manufacturing Practice**
standards.
Technical Leadership
* Lead troubleshooting activities related to instruments, analytical methods and procedures.
* Act as a technical lead on multiple R\&D projects.
* Mentor junior scientists and support the development of laboratory capabilities.
Collaboration \& Innovation
* Work closely with multidisciplinary scientific teams to deliver high\-quality analytical solutions.
* Contribute to development of new analytical technologies and laboratory capabilities.
* Support business development activities through technical input and conference presentations.
Requirements
**Education \& Experience**
* Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in
**Chemistry, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Immunology or related laboratory science**
.
* Minimum
**8 years’ experience within bioanalytical research or development**
.
* Extensive experience working with
**Triple Quadrupole Mass Spectrometer**
platforms.
* Strong background in
**LC\-MS bioanalytical method development and validation**
.
* Experience working within a
**GLP\-regulated laboratory environment**
.
* Experience within a
**CRO or bioanalytical services environment**
is highly desirable.
**Technical Skills**
* Expertise in
**bioanalytical chromatography and separation science**
.
* Strong troubleshooting and root cause investigation capability.
* Experience developing and implementing
**SOPs and laboratory quality systems**
.
* Excellent technical writing and data interpretation skills.
