Regulatory/compliance lawyer

**Regulatory Lawyer – Stockholm \- GLOBAL ROLE \- International FinTech** **Location: Stockholm** A household\-name international fintech is seeking a regulatory/compliance lawyer with @ 4–8 years’ PQE to join its Stockholm team. This role is highly cerebral and focuses on understanding regulatory rules and compliance obligations in a listed company. You will play a key role in identifying regulatory changes, assessing their impact on the business, and working with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance. This is a global role, requiring an understanding of the company’s products across multiple jurisdictions and the ability to provide pragmatic, commercial advice to the business. **What You’ll Do** : * Monitor and assess changes in regulations and their impact on the business * Work closely with internal legal, compliance, and business teams to implement required measures * Provide guidance on governance, operational requirements, and product\-specific regulatory obligations * Support the business in adapting to new regulatory requirements proactively * Think holistically about compliance and operational risks, prioritizing key issues and solutions * Solve complex regulatory and compliance challenges in a fast\-moving, multi\-jurisdictional environment **Who You Are:** * Likely to be 4–8 years’ PQE with a strong background in top\-tier private practice or in\-house experience * Experience in financial services regulation, fintech, consumer finance, or compliance * Comfortable navigating cross\-border regulatory matters * Independent, proactive, and resilient, with a “can\-do” mindset * Strong communication skills, adaptable, and collaborative across global teams * Able to triage regulatory priorities and implement practical solutions effectively **Why This Role:** This is a key role within the business, offering exposure to international regulatory frameworks, financial services compliance, and innovative fintech products.
