The successful candidate will demonstrate high professional standards and the ability to work confidently within a multidisciplinary team. You will utilise a broad range of knowledge and skills in the assessment, planning, and implementation of care for our patients, ensuring the best possible experience during their stay. We offer clear and supportive career pathways for our nursing staff, including opportunities to progress into roles such as Clinical Nurse Specialist, Nurse Practitioner, Charge Nurse, and Senior Charge Nurse. **Duration, Location, and Working Pattern:** Permanent, Part\-time Base location \- Glasgow Royal Infirmary Shift Pattern \- Rotational **Key Responsibilities** Clinical * Assess patient needs and plan, implement and evaluate evidencebased care. * Use all available resources while considering lifestyle, gender and cultural background. * Ensure involvement of patient, family, carers and significant others in care decisions. * Maintain patient records in accordance with NMC guidelines for documentation. Professional * Practise within the legal and ethical framework of the NMC and national legislation to protect patient interests and wellbeing. * Adhere to NHS, NHS Greater Glasgow, and HSE legislation, policies, guidelines and procedures. * Empower patients to take responsibility for their health by practising openly, transparently and inclusively. * Ensure patients receive relevant information to participate in decisions about their care. Education \& Research/Audit * Contribute to creating an appropriate learning environment following NES Quality Placement Standards. * Take part in the clinical appraisal of preregistration nurses. * Demonstrate ongoing professional development. * Support the implementation of research and clinical audit where appropriate.
