Job Description
**Position Title** : Regional Sales Manager **Education Required** : MBA/Electrical Engineer from any reputable institute. **Experience Required** : 10\-12 Years of relevant experience. **Salary** : 300k\-400k **Job Summary** : Responsible for leading zonal sales team and ensuring achievement of sales and recovery targets.   **Key Responsibilities** 1. Achieve annual/quarterly/monthly sales and recovery targets in assigned zone. 2. Maintain close coordination with RBM for discount approvals against orders or inquiries. 3. Lead zonal sales team and ensure all team members pitch company products as per assigned targets in their defined territory. 4. Discuss daily work plan with the zonal sales team. Monitor and guide sales team on their targets and ensure smooth sales and recovery. 5. Undertake market visits on daily basis for sales generation by meeting clients, conducting negotiations, and closing sales. 6. Provide timely and accurate quotations to prospective clients and consistently follow up to mature sales. 7. Develop long lasting and healthy relationships with all existing clients/customers. 8. Generate leads and locate potential business deals by discovering and exploring new business opportunities. 9. Consistently work to develop and mature new clients with potential for high profitability sales. 10. Ensure timely updates to all customers/clients regarding product diversification or enhancement, and company updates, whenever required through e\-mail or visit. 11. Coordinate with factory for pending orders follow up. 12. Ensure customer queries are addressed promptly and customer complaints resolved on priority. 13. Attend national industrial fairs/exhibitions (if required) and promote brand in liaison with Marketing Department. 14. Keep up to date on all current/upcoming market trends in different market segments of the industry. 15. Monitor competitor's activities related to sales, products, pricing and branding activities etc. and share with RBM in daily meeting. 16. Ensure regular update of PMS. 17. Maintain accurate and updated sales records from identification of customer to invoice generation through ERP. 18. Mentor and provide on job training for all team members. Evaluate team members' performance on merit as per the KPI achievements and provide guidelines for improvement. 19. Develop a successor for himself as well as key immediate reportees. 20. Prepare accurate and timely sales and recovery projections, PR Budget, and other required reports on annual, quarterly, monthly and weekly basis and present to RBM.
