**Details:**
*Full\-time Hybrid Role with Benefits in Atlanta, GA*
Hybrid flexibility with an expectation to be in\-office 2–3 times per month for team collaboration, onboarding support, and key meetings
**Compensation:**
$65,000 \- $85,000 base salary, based on experience, with performance\-based incentives tied to hiring and team outcomes
**Responsibilities \& Work Environment**
The Recruiting \& HR Manager at Empify is responsible for ensuring that every team member at Empify is not only hired effectively, but also onboarded, managed, and held accountable to clear performance standards.This role oversees both new talent acquisition and the ongoing performance and organization of our existing team, ensuring employees are aligned, supported, and held accountable to clear standards.
This role plays a critical part in scaling the organization by ensuring we bring in individuals who align with our standards, culture, and vision, while also strengthening the internal people infrastructure that drives performance, communication, and consistency across the company.
As the leader in this function, the ultimate goal is to remove recruiting, onboarding, and people operations from the CEO’s plate, while building a consistent, efficient, and high\-quality hiring and onboarding process that supports rapid growth. This role will work cross\-functionally across leadership, marketing, operations, and customer success to understand hiring needs, support performance tracking, and ensure both new and existing employees are set up to succeed.
This position requires someone who is proactive, highly organized, and execution\-focused, with the ability to manage multiple roles, candidates, and priorities at once. The People \& Recruiting Manager contributes directly to the strength of our team, the speed of our execution, and the overall growth of Empify by ensuring both the quality of our hires and the consistency of our internal people systems.
This member of our team covers a number of key areas in our business, and the most critical responsibilities are below:
**Recruiting \& Talent Acquisition**
* Own the full recruiting process across all open roles from sourcing to offer acceptance
* Review resumes, screen candidates, and conduct initial interviews to identify top talent
* Present only top candidates to leadership for final decision\-making
* Build and maintain a consistent hiring pipeline for current and future roles
* Partner with external recruiters and manage those relationships effectively
* Continuously improve the hiring process to increase speed, quality, and conversion
**Onboarding \& New Hire Setup**
* Own and execute the onboarding process for all new hires
* Ensure employees are fully set up with tools, systems, and access prior to start date
* Build and maintain onboarding checklists and processes for consistency
* Support new hires through their first 90 days to ensure a smooth transition
**People Operations \& Organization**
* Maintain accurate employee records, documentation, and internal organization
* Support offboarding processes, including communication, documentation, and system removal
* Maintain and support HR compliance and organization across the company
* Identify gaps in current people processes and recommend improvements
**Performance Management**
* Partner with leadership to support development and tracking of KPIs across roles
* Help implement consistent performance processes, including check\-ins and review cycles
* Track performance against KPIs and ensure visibility for leadership
* Execute and support performance reviews, feedback conversations, and documentation
* Assist in identifying underperformance and supporting improvement plans
**Culture \& Communication**
* Support the development and consistency of Empify’s internal culture through structured communication and team touchpoints
* Ensure company policies, expectations, and updates are clearly communicated across the team
* Contribute to a strong employee experience from onboarding through ongoing engagement
* Reinforce company standards, accountability, and alignment across departments
* Identify opportunities to improve communication, engagement, and overall team experience

* Do not repeat mistakes; implement systems to prevent them from happening again
* All ideas must include a clear execution plan and expected outcome
* Be proactive at all times; anticipate hiring needs, gaps, and team challenges before they arise
* Communicate hiring delays, onboarding issues, or risks 24–48 hours in advance
* Over\-communicate consistently with leadership and candidates throughout the hiring process
* Double confirm all hiring decisions, offers, and employee documentation in writing
* Under promise and over deliver on hiring timelines and onboarding readiness
* Nothing is complete until candidates are successfully hired, onboarded, and fully set up to perform
**Desired Skills \& Work History**
* 5\-8\+ years of experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, people operations, or HR within a fast\-paced or high\-growth environment
* Proven track record of successfully hiring across multiple roles and improving hiring speed, quality, and conversion rates
* Demonstrated ability to build and improve recruiting, onboarding, and people processes, not just follow existing systems
* Strong ability to evaluate talent beyond resumes, using structured interviews and sound judgment to identify high performers
* Experience working directly with leadership to translate business needs into hiring and performance outcomes
* Ability to manage multiple open roles and priorities simultaneously without sacrificing quality or speed
* Experience supporting or implementing performance management systems, including KPI tracking, performance reviews, and accountability processes
* Strong understanding of employee lifecycle management, including onboarding, performance tracking, and offboarding
* High level of professionalism, discretion, and emotional intelligence when handling sensitive employee situations
* Strong organizational and operational skills with the ability to create structure in ambiguous environments
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills across candidates, employees, and leadership
* Comfortable working in a high\-accountability, performance\-driven culture
* Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS), hiring platforms, and internal tools preferred
* Experience in a startup, scaling company, or small business environment strongly preferred
**Education Background**
* Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, communications, or a related field is preferred, but not required
* Equivalent hands\-on experience in recruiting, people operations, or building team infrastructure in a fast\-paced environment is highly valued
