Project Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION Insight Global is seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented Project Engineer to support the planning, coordination, and execution of engineering projects within the rail industry. This role is well suited for an early‑career engineer looking to build hands‑on project experience while working closely with senior engineers, project managers, and cross‑functional teams. The Project Engineer will assist with technical coordination, project documentation, scheduling, and day‑to‑day execution activities across multiple projects. The successful candidate will contribute to ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and in compliance with quality and regulatory requirements, while gaining exposure to project lifecycle best practices in a fast‑paced engineering environment. This position emphasizes collaboration, learning, and technical contribution rather than people management, making it ideal for someone developing their project engineering skill set within the rail sector. REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE • 5\+ years experience in civil engineering (large infrastructure projects, ideally rail) • Bachelor's in Civil Engineering • Ability to support multiple large\-scale projects at once • Excellent communication and leadership skills • Interested in long term development within the organization • P.Eng designation NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE • PMP certification
