Project Engineer (Bridge Construction)

Backed by a multidisciplinary team of civil, mechanical, structural, and electrical engineers, Waagner Biro Bridge Services is committed to quality, precision, and reliable infrastructure delivery across the region. **Job Description** We are seeking a competent and results\-driven **Project Engineer – Civil** to manage and oversee civil engineering works with a focus on bridge construction, aluminum cladding, and interior finishing. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring project execution aligns with technical specifications, quality standards, and project timelines. **Key Responsibilities:** * Plan, coordinate, and supervise on\-site civil works, ensuring compliance with project specifications and approved drawings. * Manage and monitor **bridge concrete works** , including formwork, reinforcement, and casting activities. * Oversee installation and execution of **aluminum cladding systems** and **interior finishes** in accordance with design and quality standards. * Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project progress. * Review technical drawings, method statements, and material submittals. * Ensure adherence to project schedules and proactively resolve any technical or site\-related issues. * Monitor quality control procedures and ensure compliance with relevant authority regulations (e.g., RTA, DM, etc.). * Prepare daily/weekly progress reports and maintain proper documentation. * Coordinate inspections and approvals with consultants and authorities. * Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards at all times. **Qualifications** * Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering. * Minimum **8 years of relevant experience** , with **UAE project exposure** . * Proven experience in: + Bridge concrete works + Aluminum cladding systems + Interior finishing works * Strong understanding of construction methodologies, materials, and quality standards. * Familiarity with UAE authority regulations and approval processes. * Proficient in project documentation and reporting. * Valid UAE Driving License (preferred). **Additional Information** * Strong technical and problem\-solving skills * Effective coordination and communication abilities * Ability to manage multiple activities under tight deadlines * Detail\-oriented with a focus on quality and compliance * Team leadership and stakeholder management
