TforTeacher Limited is a SENCO\-led provider of specialist tuition and educational consultancy. **Role Description**
As a Sub\-Contracted Tutor with TforTeacher Limited, you will deliver high\-quality, engaging 1:1 tuition across a variety of settings, including online, within pupils' homes, and from our dedicated TforTeacher base. Following the "TforTeacher Way," you will be responsible for planning and tailoring every lesson to a child’s unique individual profile, meticulously incorporating insights from professional reports and EHCP targets to ensure every session is impactful. Your role goes beyond standard tutoring; you will actively help children overcome complex barriers to learning by utilising evidence\-based pedagogy—such as Cognitive Load Theory—to rebuild their academic confidence. As a vital part of our "team around the child," you will also maintain regular, professional communication with parents and caregivers, providing the consistent support and data\-driven feedback necessary to guarantee exceptional progress for every learner.
**Qualifications \& Experience**
* Must be a Fully Qualified Teacher (QTS) with a Bachelor’s degree in Education or a relevant subject\-specific field.
* High proficiency in subject\-specific knowledge with the ability to apply Educational Learning Theory.
* Proven experience supporting diverse learning needs, including ASD, ADHD, Dyslexia, and Anxiety.
* Ability to analyze professional reports and EHCPs to design bespoke learning journeys that meet specific, long\-term developmental targets.
* Exceptional interpersonal skills to maintain professional, regular communication with parents and act as part of a team around the child.
* Proficiency in using educational tools and platforms to deliver engaging lessons across online, home\-based, and TforTeacher base environments.
* Demonstrated ability to tailor 1:1 instruction to individual student profiles, ensuring lessons are both engaging and accessible.
* Evidence of patience, creativity, and a dedicated passion for helping students overcome complex barriers to learning, alongside a proactive willingness to engage in ongoing CPD and additional specialist training.
* Must have an unwavering commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people, including up\-to\-date knowledge of Prevent Duty and Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSiE).
