**Location:** Oxbow Prairie Horizons School, located in the community of Oxbow, SK **Term** Start Date: April 13, 2026 End Date: N/A **Tenure** Continuing **Hours Of Work** Equivalent to 6 hours per day student days **Duties** In addition to those duties outlined in the , duties include supporting students with diverse needs and/or high behavioral needs. The successful applicant may be required to perform the following: * Ability to lift up to 60 pounds without a lift and up to 120 pounds with 2 man lift or mechanical lift * Transport students (personal vehicle may be required to transport) * Attend to personal hygiene and medical needs as required * Prepare and plan student\-based life skills and academic programming under direction of teacher * Focus on successfully transitioning the student to be able to work with other students and adults * Focus on behaviour and safety plan created specifically for students as required * Supervision of intensive needs student(s) as well as small groups of students as required **Qualifications** * Minimum Grade 12 diploma from an institution recognized by the Board of Education * Demonstrated ability to adapt to change and be flexible * Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as an effective team member * Valid driver's license * Demonstrated knowledge of school computer software such as word processing and computer assisted learning software * An educational assistant or equivalent diploma, NVCI, First Aid, Autism and Behavioral educational background will be considered assets * Commitment to the ideals of public education as well as the mission, vision and guiding principles of the South East Cornerstone Public School Division **Salary \& Benefits** Salary and benefits are in accordance with the currently negotiated CUPE Collective Agreement as listed on our website .
