PART TIME WEEKDAY/NIGHT AND WEEKEND RETAIL SALES TO MANAGER POSITION

The Lehigh Valley's Favorite Sweet Spot** We are looking for a sales associate to train as a Retail Manager to oversee the Chocolate, Ice Cream, and Bakery departments. This position involves managing the daytime or evening shifts sales personnel to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction, ensure that worklists are completed, assisting with waiting on customers and closing all departments at the end of the shift. The training period pay is $14/hr, when trained in all departments and when ready to advance the manager pay rate is $16\-16\.50/hr. **WEEKDAY SHIFTS: Sales:** 9:45 AM to 4:00 PM **WEEKNIGHT SHIFTS: Sales:** 4:00PM to 9:00PM * **WEEKEND SHIFTS**: Must have availability for occasional shifts on weekends * Hours per week 16\-24 * Retail Store Hours: Monday\-Saturday 10:00am\-9:00pm / Sunday 11:00\-9:00 * Evening Store Shift Hours: 4:00PM\-9:00PM * Winter hours will differ in times * Must have daytime availability, and some evenings. **What Will I do?** Once fully trained as a sales associate in all departments, and if ready to move into a retail manager position will oversee and assist Daytime or Evening Sales Personnel with the following. * Provide customer service and address the needs of customers in a timely \& effective manner * Ensure a fresh and appealing display by keeping cases and shelves clean and well stocked * Operate POS Systems/Follow cash \& credit card handling procedures * Restocking products, cash register sales, light cleaning, customer assistance and some product prep. * Scoop ice cream and make ice cream sundaes for customers * Package chocolates and hard candies between customers * Assist in the manufacturing of chocolate and ice cream products **Basic Qualifications** * At least 18 years of age * High School Diploma or GED * Excellent communication skills\-written and verbal in order to correctly enter and fulfill orders * Basic math functions (additions, subtractions, multiplication, division) and ability to use a calculator * Ability to thrive in a fast\-paced environment **Physical Demands** * You’ll be on your feet a lot – this job involves standing and moving * You will need to be able to constantly stand, crouch, kneel, bend and reach above eye level and work with your hands * You’ll need to be able to lift up to 5 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally Job Type: Part\-time Pay: $14\.00 \- $16\.00 per hour Benefits: * Flexible schedule Application Question(s): * Do you have weekend availability(Friday, Saturday and Sunday) * When are you available to start?
