**Paper Packaging General Manager – Manufacturing** **Location: Ras al\-Khaimah** **Salary: AED 12,000 \- 18,000 \+ Benefits** A well\-established manufacturing business within the packaging sector is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead its operations and drive the next phase of commercial and operational growth. This is a senior leadership role offering full responsibility for business performance, strategy, and operational delivery. This opportunity would suit a commercially minded leader with a strong background in manufacturing or packaging, capable of managing cross\-functional teams while delivering sustainable growth, operational excellence, and strong financial performance. The Role Reporting to the company’s shareholders, you will take full ownership of the site’s overall performance and strategic direction. You will lead key functions across Sales, Operations, Production, Finance, and HR, ensuring alignment with wider business objectives and delivering against revenue, profitability, and operational targets. Key responsibilities will include: * Developing and implementing long\-term business strategies and annual operating plans * Driving sales growth through new market opportunities and product diversification * Building and maintaining relationships with major customers, distributors, and partners * Overseeing production, supply chain, and logistics to ensure efficiency, quality, and delivery performance * Managing full P\&L responsibility, cost control, budgeting, and financial forecasting * Leading and developing senior management teams across multiple departments * Embedding a culture of accountability, performance, and continuous improvement * Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and managing operational risk About You We are looking to speak with senior leaders who can demonstrate: * Proven experience as a General Manager, Operations Director, or senior manufacturing leader * Background within manufacturing, packaging, or a related industrial sector * Strong commercial acumen and P\&L management experience * A track record of leading cross\-functional teams and driving operational improvement * Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills * Strategic thinking combined with a hands\-on leadership approach Desirable experience includes exposure to international markets, export\-focused businesses, or sustainable packaging solutions, as well as postgraduate qualifications in business or operations.
