**National Territory Manager (McLane Focused)** **Location:** Remote \+ travel **Compensation:** $70,000–$80,000 base \+ commission We’re partnering with a fast\-growing consumer brand that is looking to add a **National Territory Manager** to help expand its presence in the **convenience store channel** , with a strong emphasis on **McLane distribution** . This is a high\-impact opportunity for a sales professional who thrives on opening new doors, building strategic channel partnerships, and driving strong year\-over\-year growth. This role is ideal for someone with a successful background in **CPG, convenience, tobacco, or adjacent retail channels** who understands how to scale distribution, win new business, and grow existing accounts. **Position Overview** The National Territory Manager will be responsible for leading growth initiatives within the convenience store market, with a primary focus on expanding distribution through **McLane** and other key channel partners. This person will play a critical role in developing go\-to\-market strategies, securing new accounts, and increasing sales across both new and existing customers nationwide. **Key Responsibilities** * Develop and execute a national sales strategy focused on growing market share in the **convenience store channel** , with particular emphasis on **McLane** and related distribution networks. * Identify and secure new distribution opportunities, retail partnerships, and key account relationships across the U.S. * Drive consistent **year\-over\-year revenue growth** through new business development and expansion of current accounts. * Build and strengthen relationships with distributors, wholesalers, and direct retail accounts to increase product placement and sales volume. * Create and implement strategic plans around pricing, promotions, merchandising, and product placement to maximize sell\-through. * Evaluate market trends, competitive activity, and consumer behavior to uncover growth opportunities and refine sales strategy. * Deliver accurate sales forecasts and provide regular updates on pipeline activity, account performance, and territory growth. * Partner cross\-functionally with internal teams such as marketing, product, and operations to support launches and ensure execution in market. * Contribute to long\-term sales infrastructure and, as the organization scales, potentially help build and mentor a broader sales team. **Qualifications** * **5\+ years of progressive sales experience** in **CPG, tobacco, convenience retail, or a similar channel\-driven industry** * Proven success expanding into new markets and generating measurable **year\-over\-year sales growth** * Strong experience developing and managing distributor relationships, ideally including **McLane** or similar national convenience distributors * Demonstrated ability to win new business, negotiate partnerships, and grow strategic accounts * Strong understanding of the **convenience store landscape** , including distribution models, retail merchandising, and go\-to\-market execution * Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills * Self\-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset and a strong results orientation * Comfortable working independently in a field\-based or remote capacity * Willingness to travel as needed to support customer meetings, distributor relationships, and business growth * Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred **Why This Opportunity Stands Out** * Join a **rapidly expanding consumer brand** with strong momentum in the market * Take ownership of a **high\-visibility national territory** * Play a key role in building out the company’s presence in the convenience channel * Competitive base salary plus **uncapped commission potential**
