Job Description
We the Wild is a fast\-growing plant care brand on a mission to make plant care simple, safe, and sustainable. Our products are sold in thousands of stores globally, and we are rapidly scaling across the US. We’re hiring a **National Sales Manager** to own and grow our **specialty retail, eCommerce, Faire, and national distributor channels** . This is a hands\-on leadership role reporting to the CFO with direct exposure to the CEO and full ownership of Specialty and Channel performance. **Key Responsibilities** **Sales \& Account Management** * Own and grow eCommerce, specialty retail, Faire, and distributor accounts * Build and manage a high performing team to manage day\-to\-day account performance and execution * Build and maintain strong partner and buyer relationships * Deliver revenue and profitability targets * Oversee purchase orders and fulfillment alignment * Lead item setup and vendor onboarding * Align with supply chain on inventory and fulfillment * Plan and execute trade shows and key sales events **Specialty Channel Growth** * Expand distribution across independent garden centers and specialty retailers * Manage and develop territory team members * Drive accountability and performance standards * Drive high\-volume outreach and pipeline management (thorugh HubSpot CRM) * Execute direct\-to\-store strategies to increase sell\-in and sell\-through * Develop scalable outreach and activation programs * Manage and grow Faire including listing optimization, marketing and Account Management **Strategy \& Planning** * Lead channel\-specific assortment planning aligned to seasonal demand * Collaborate with finance on forecasting, inventory alignment, and AOP delivery * Plan and execute promotions and new product launches * Identify and convert new business opportunities **Marketing \& Merchandising** * Execute channel\-specific marketing strategies including specialty retail merchandising plans * Work with the marketing team to develop content and digital merchandising to support specialty growth * Build compelling sales materials, decks, and line reviews * Develop merchandising renders using 3D renderers and AI **Requirements** * Experience growing a **challenger brand in US retail and/or eCommerce** * **Background in grocery, gift, or health \& wellness categories** * **Proven success scaling Faire, distributors, and specialty retail channels** * **Strong people management experience** * **Highly relationship\-driven with strong commercial instincts** * **Excellent attention to detail (especially in presentations and reporting)** * **Strong understanding of pricing, margins, and retail economics** * **Comfortable operating in a fast\-paced, high\-growth environment** **Why Join We the Wild** * Direct reporting line to the CEO * High ownership and autonomy across key growth channels * Opportunity to scale a globally expanding brand * Work in a fast\-moving, entrepreneurial environment
