**National Sales Director**
Paris Gourmet is seeking a National Sales Director to join our exceptional team!
A leading supplier of gourmet culinary products used by many of the finest restaurants
all over the country, Paris Gourmet offers over 40 years of achievement in quality
service and delivery. Our reputation with our distributors, chefs and supply chain
professionals will serve as a strong foundation for your success in this role.
This is an exciting and highly visible role in our industry. Our selected hire will be
focused on maintaining the highest level of client satisfaction while driving a sales team
to continue success with strategic collaboration, partnering in problem solving and
leading in technology initiatives keeping PG ahead of the curve in state\-of\-the\-art
industry process.

The position will be located in Carlstadt, NJ. This is not a remote role – when not
travelling, employees are required to be in the office.
**\*\*Experience and Skills: \*\***
\* Broad Liner Distribution experience (5 years minimum)
\* Street Sales experience
\* Knowledge of food service products, practices, and trends
\* Cooking experience (a plus)
\* Excellent communication skills (foreign language a plus)
\* Understanding of data analysis (specific tools/software to be determined, PowerBI)
\* Understanding of Truck distribution and Public warehouses
\* Proficiency in managing pricing, rebates, discounts, and margins
**\*\*Responsibilities: \*\***
\* Team Leadership \- recruit, hire, train, and coach sales representatives to improve their
performance and meet goals
\* Manage a minimum of 11 sales personnel (5 in NYC, 6 National)
\* Sales pipeline management \- Oversee the sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals and
conduct business reviews with key accounts
\* Organize sales meetings and manage presentations to distributors
\* Drive new product placement, sales, and new account incentives
\* Manage ride\-along for sales staff with PG Chefs, Technicians, and PG Brand Managers
\* Customer relationship management \- build and maintain strong relationships with key
customers/distributors
\* Operational support \- collaborate with departments such as purchasing to manage
inventory and with marketing on promotional activities
\* Communicate effectively with PG Chefs and Brand Managers
\* Oversee all Trade Shows in which PG participates
**\*\*Work Environment and Travel: \*\***
\* No remote work; presence required in the office or on the road
\* Ability to sleep 5 to 7 nights a month in a hotel for travel and trade shows
\* Flexible availability is required, including evenings, weekends, and travel for trade
shows and industry events.
