Job Description
**Reports to:** Sales Director **Location:** Hybrid role, 1 day a week in London Office \- Field\- national travel. **Role Purpose** We are seeking a proactive National Account Manager to drive growth across the UK. This role is responsible for winning new business, expanding distribution, and managing key accounts. The NAM will focus on key RTM partners such as Booker, as well as winning Tier 1 convenience/forecourts and Wholesale accounts. You will work collaboratively within a small team to achieve ambitious sales targets while representing Harry Brompton’s the UK’s fastest growing brand of Iced Tea. **Key Responsibilities** **New Business Development** * Identify and secure new opportunities through RTM partners and sizeable Out\-of\-Home/convenience/forecourts accounts. * Maintain strong industry networks and leverage your “black book” of contacts. * Act as the visible face of Harry Brompton’s in your territory and develop profitable trading relationships. **Account Management** * Monitor and deliver against volume, revenue, and investment targets. * Build and maintain strong customer relationships and develop robust account plans. * Manage budgets responsibly and negotiate to secure distribution and promotional gains. **Relationships \& Collaboration** * Develop productive relationships with customers, RTM NAMs, and end customers. * Implement targeted sales and marketing plans, introducing simple, innovative processes. * Share best practice with peers and communicate proactively across teams. **Innovation \& Strategy** * Identify market trends, competitor activity, and creative growth opportunities. * Contribute to commercial strategy, range management, and future NPD initiatives. **Who We’re Looking For** * A proactive, hunter\-style salesperson with a strong track record in at least one of **Wholesale, Convenience, or Foodservice**. * Existing relationships with some of the following are highly valuable: * **End\-user Convenience accounts** * **End\-user Forecourt accounts** * **RTM channels** * **Other large customer via the RTM** * Confident, highly presentable, and able to engage both informally and formally * Strategic thinker with commercial acumen, analytical skills, and a results\-driven mindset. * Ambitious, creative, and capable of delivering both new business wins and incremental growth. **Key Skills \& Competencies** * Proven success in FMCG or drinks sales, preferably in soft drinks, beer, or spirits. * Strong commercial acumen, negotiation, and relationship\-building skills. * Highly organized, with competency in Excel and PowerPoint. * Strategic thinker, collaborative, and results\-oriented. * Ability to analyse data, challenge assumptions, and drive incremental business growth. **Education \& Experience** **Essential:** * 5\+ years’ FMCG sales experience in wholesale, foodservice, or out\-of\-home markets. * A\-Level (or equivalent) with Maths \& English GCSE grade C. * UK driving licence. **Desirable:** * Degree qualification.
