Manager Learning & Development (ASA Microfinance Bank Pakistan Limited)

Manager Learning \& Development is responsible for leading the design, development, and execution of training and capacity\-building initiatives across the Bank. The role will ensure enhancement of employee competencies, particularly in microfinance operations, customer service, compliance, and leadership, in alignment with the Bank’s mission and regulatory requirements. Job Responsibilities: * Develop and implement the Bank’s L\&D strategy, including annual training plans and TNAs. * Design and deliver microfinance‑focused trainings (loan processes, risk, compliance, SBP guidelines). * Run induction programs and refresher trainings to support continuous learning. * Build leadership development programs and support succession planning. * Conduct branch visits to deliver training, assess needs, and identify performance gaps. * Facilitate classroom, virtual, and on‑the‑job training; evaluate training effectiveness. * Lead and mentor the training team and develop internal trainers. * Oversee training logistics, facilities, budgets, and resource utilization. * Maintain training MIS, prepare reports, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. * Manage external training partnerships and bring in industry best practices. Experience, Qualification, \& Skills: * Bachelor’s/master’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field * 4\-6 years of experience in Training \& Development (mandatory in microfinance or banking sector) * Strong understanding of microfinance operations * Leadership and team management skills * Excellent communication and facilitation abilities * Analytical and reporting skills (MIS) * Knowledge of SBP regulations and compliance * Proficiency in LMS and HR systems
