This approach has helped us gain a competitive edge by aligning personal aspirations with our corporate vision. **Position Summary:** The position holder is responsible to lead the organization wide AI program that includes identification of AI use cases/applications in collaboration with the business users, prioritization of the AI workload, business case development for necessary approvals and implementation of the use cases through suitable vendors / partners via effective operating models. The position holder leads the strategy, development, and governance of AI systems across the business. The role ensures that AI solutions are realized from ideation till implementation through cross functional teams, and AI is embedded in long\-term business goals through effective partnerships and operating models. Core responsibilities include researching the global, national and industrial trends and best practices in AI / ML and adopting suitable and relevant AI workloads for the organization; while ensuring AI related regulatory compliances and governance practices are conformed. **Responsibilities:** * Develop the strategy and roadmap for the organization\-wide AI adoption. * Identify the AI use cases, applications and solutions in collaboration with the business users and the management. * Prioritize the AI use cases/applications in terms of business need and develop the business cases for necessary approval. * Select suitable operating models for the development, deployment and operations of the organization wide AI Systems/applications. This includes selection of suitable partnerships for AI workload development and hosting. * Evaluate and select the AI tools/technology, vendors, and the underlying IT infrastructure. * Organize data repositories into unified Data Warehouse and/or data lakes for single source of truth. * Develop and manage cross functional teams consisting of business users and Data scientist / AI experts to deliver the complete AI product lifecycle from ideation till operations. * Develop and implement AI governance model that shall also include (i) ethical use of AI and data (ii) data privacy related matters (iii) User access management on AI products (iv) formation of Data Warehousing and Data Lakes * Collaborate effectively with all the business users across the Organization for the AI implementation per strategy and roadmap * Develop an organization wide AI/ML Awareness and competency building framework * Lead organization wide recruitment and capability development for AI. * Report AI outcomes and ROI to executive leadership **Competencies/Qualifications:** * Bachelor’s degree in data science, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Computer science, software/computer/Telecom engineering or any relevant field. * Minimum 10\-12 years of experience in Machine learning, or data science. * Strong understanding of AI technologies and their applications, preferably in an E\&P environment with track record of converting AI capabilities into production. * Strong understanding of Python, JavaScript, SQL and associated Large Language Models (LLMs). * Skilled in stakeholder management. * Familiarity with ethical AI and regulatory frameworks. * Experience managing budgets, vendors, and platforms. **Behaviors:** * Strong Leadership qualities * Effective Communication * Strong Data Analytics * People Management *Last date to apply:* *April 12th, 2026\.*
