Qualicare location offers home care services that focus on providing the best quality of life for our clients and peace of mind for their families. **Job Summary** The **Licensed Practical/Registered Practical Nurse** is responsible for providing direct skilled client care under the supervision of a registered nurse. Responsibilities include following the plan of care, providing treatments, and working collaboratively with the members of the team to help meet positive client care outcomes. **Responsibilities** * Provides direct patient care * Provides accurate, detailed, and timely documentation * Conducts initial and ongoing assessments * prepare specific care plan for each client after assessments * Delegate tasks to HCAs for specific clients * Prepares, administers and appropriately documents actions taken specific to medications * Performs all skills, treatments, and procedures competently in accordance with the provincial scope of practice * Follows principles of infection control and Universal Precautions **Qualifications** * Current certificate of competence and good standing * Certified in CPR * Strong clinical skills * Negative TB test or chest x\-ray * Self\-directing with the ability to work with little direct supervision * Excellent customer service skills
