Legal Counsel - renewables

Opportunity to join a leading international solar PV Manufacturing company as Inhouse Legal Counsel. **Location:** Remote working , or based in Houston, Texas Title: In\-House Counsel Reporting To: Legal Director and possible General Counsel on select matters **Role Purpose** The In\-House Counsel will provide day to day legal support across commercial contracting, supply chain, and trade and regulatory compliance, related to solar module manufacturing and sales. **Responsibilities** * Reviewing and negotiating commercial agreements including MSAs, supply agreements, purchase orders, NDAs, and logistics contracts. * Supporting trade, tariff, and customs matters including AD CVD and related import compliance issues. * Advising on solar module manufacturing, supply chain, and distribution issues. * Supporting domestic content, FEOC, and tax credit related certifications and compliance efforts. * Handling routine legal matters currently outsourced to outside counsel. * Coordinating with outside counsel on specialized matters as needed. * Advising on Intellectual Property matters. **Requirements:** * Juris Doctor and active U.S. bar admission * Prior legal experience within the **Renewables sector** , specifically focusing on **Solar, Inverter, or BESS (Battery Energy Storage Systems) manufacturing** , is highly advantageous. * Prior in\-house experience preferred * Solar manufacturing or energy supply chain experience is required * Intellectual Property experience is plus but not required. * Practical, efficient, and business oriented
