Legal Counsel - FMCG business

We are looking for a commercially focused Legal Counsel 4\-6 years PQE to join a fast\-paced FMCG business, partnering with the Head of Legal and European Leadership Team. This role offers exposure to high\-profile, business\-critical matters across multiple markets. **The role:** You will act as a trusted advisor, supporting both strategic initiatives and day\-to\-day legal needs. Working closely with legal and commercial colleagues, you will deliver clear, pragmatic advice aligned to business priorities. **Key responsibilities include:** * Advising senior stakeholders on complex and high\-impact matters. * Supporting a broad range of legal areas, including M\&A, corporate, digital, marketing, commercial contracts, and disputes. * Collaborating with the wider legal network to share best practices and drive alignment. * Managing your workload independently while contributing to a collaborative team and supporting junior colleagues. **Skills required:** * Qualified lawyer with 4\-6 years PQE gained in private practice or in\-house (commercial or corporate). * Strong commercial judgement and a pragmatic, solutions\-focused mindset. * Confidence and integrity to handle challenging situations. * Clear communication skills, with the ability to work across diverse cultures and influence a wide range of stakeholders. * Strong organisational, project, and time management skills. * A proactive approach, with the ability to identify and deliver value\-adding opportunities. * Enthusiasm for varied legal work and the ability to thrive in a fast\-paced, team\-oriented environment. * A calm, resilient approach under pressure.
