This role will support a broad range of legal matters, including corporate, litigation, and regulatory work. Exposure to mergers and acquisitions (M\&A) is considered an asset. This is an excellent opportunity for a junior lawyer looking to develop in a dynamic, fast\-paced environment. **Key Responsibilities** * Provide legal advice and support on corporate, commercial, litigation, and regulatory matters * Assist with drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a variety of agreements (e.g., commercial contracts, NDAs, service agreements, RFP’s, etc.) * Support ongoing and potential litigation matters, including coordinating with external counsel and managing documentation * Monitor and advise on regulatory compliance requirements relevant to the business * Conduct legal research and prepare summaries, memos, and risk assessments * Assist with corporate governance matters, including maintaining corporate records and supporting board materials * Participate in due diligence and transaction support for M\&A activities (if applicable) * Collaborate cross\-functionally with internal stakeholders (HR, Finance, Operations, etc.) to provide practical legal guidance **Qualifications \& Experience** * Juris Doctor (JD/LLB) and member in good standing with a Law Society of Ontario * 1–2 years of relevant legal experience (law firm or in\-house) * Exposure to corporate law, litigation, and regulatory matters * Experience with M\&A transactions is considered an asset * Strong legal research, drafting, and analytical skills * Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently * Strong business acumen and practical problem\-solving approach * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills **Key Competencies** * Attention to detail and sound judgment * Ability to balance legal risk with business objectives * Strong organizational and time management skills * Proactive, adaptable, and eager to learn **Why Join Us** * Opportunity to gain broad legal exposure across multiple practice areas * Collaborative and supportive team environment * Career growth and development opportunities This is more than a job \- it’s your opportunity to be part of something bigger.
