**About Muktangan** Muktangan is an innovative, inclusive education initiative demonstrating how community members, empowered with the right beliefs and skills, can drive excellent learning outcomes. Through our Hub\-and\-Spokes model—comprising a Teacher Education Centre and 7 municipal schools in Mumbai—we provide free, high\-quality English\-medium education to over 4,000 children annually and have developed 1,000\+ community members as teachers. We collaborate with institutions such as UNICEF, BMC, Government of Maharashtra, TISS, University of Pennsylvania, and leading universities in the UK. In\-Service Teacher Education \& Curriculum Development** * Lead development and refinement of the English curriculum (Grades 1–10\) aligned with constructivist pedagogy * Design TLMs, lesson plans, and assessment frameworks * Facilitate regular teacher learning forums and professional development sessions * Build teachers’ English proficiency (reading, writing, speaking, listening) * Model constructivist practices through demonstration lessons and co\-teaching * Mentor teachers through classroom observations and feedback * Track and document impact on teaching practices and student learning   **B. Outreach and Advocacy** * Conduct needs assessments with partner organisations * Co\-design curriculum and TLMs for partner contexts * Facilitate trainings (in\-person/virtual) * Conduct classroom observations and provide structured feedback based on M\&E frameworks   **C. Organisational Development** * Research emerging trends in English education * Represent and advocate Muktangan’s work through seminars, publications, and networks * Contribute to thought leadership in English curriculum and pedagogy   **Qualifications** * M.A./M.Phil. (English) with B.Ed. * Minimum 3 years of teaching experience (primary/middle school) is required * Additional 2 years of experience as teacher educator or trainer is desirable   **Key Competencies** * Strong interest in curriculum design and teacher development * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to design relevant, engaging learning content (including use of technology) * Working knowledge of Marathi/Hindi preferred * Strong collaboration and project leadership skills * Flexibility in a dynamic work environment   **Remuneration** Competitive, as per industry standards   **Apply** Send your CV and cover letter to: **contact@muktanganedu.org**
