**Key Account Manager**
**Vancouver, BC \| Origin Sustainables**
**Reports to:**
Director, Key Accounts
Origin Sustainables is hiring a Key Account Manager to help us drive and execute complex customer opportunities across sales, product, and operations.
This role is primarily responsible for driving commercial execution across key accounts and complex opportunities, while also serving as a secondary layer of continuity and support across selected customer relationships. Over time, the role may take on more direct ownership of certain account activities, customer matters, or smaller accounts as capability and business needs evolve.
We are a specialized supply chain partner helping multi\-unit restaurant chains and enterprise customers simplify and improve the way they source and manage packaging. We are not a traditional distributor. We help customers solve complex sourcing and supply chain challenges through tailored product solutions, inventory planning, logistics coordination, and hands\-on execution.
This role is ideal for someone who is commercially sharp, highly organized, detail\-oriented, and energized by bringing structure, speed, and rigor to cross\-functional work.
**What you will do**
* Drive and coordinate customer opportunities from inquiry through implementation
* Act as a reliable secondary point of continuity across key accounts, with the ability to step in on selected customer matters, implementations, and follow\-up as needed.
* Build polished proposals, presentations, quote summaries, rollout plans, and follow\-up materials
* Review and validate pricing models, assumptions, and proposal logic before materials go external
* Own next steps, deadlines, owners, and follow\-up across active opportunities and key account initiatives
* Support customer meetings with preparation, documentation, and follow\-up
* Lead onboarding and rollout of new customer programs
* Use reports, dashboards, and internal systems to monitor activity, identify issues early, and keep work moving
**What we are looking for**
* 3–8\+ years of experience in project coordination, account management, customer solutions, sales support, implementation, commercial operations, or a similar role
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Strong quantitative skills and Excel proficiency
* Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
* Strong business judgment and problem\-solving ability
* High ownership, urgency, and reliability
* Professional presence and confidence working across functions and with customers
* Comfort operating in a lean, entrepreneurial environment
**Strong assets**
* Experience in packaging, foodservice, distribution, sourcing, procurement, logistics, or another B2B operating environment
* Experience supporting enterprise or multi\-location customers
* Familiarity with CRM and ERP systems such as NetSuite
* Experience preparing proposals, RFP responses, implementation plans, or customer\-facing presentations
