About the role: What's in the Box
As a Junior Supply Chain Coordinator, you will play a key role in ensuring our production runs smoothly by delivering the right products, at the right time, in the right quality. You’ll be part of a fast-paced, highly collaborative team working closely with procurement, production, warehouse, and quality teams to keep operations running seamlessly.
You will be at the heart of daily operations, solving challenges as they arise while also contributing to longer-term improvements. Your work will directly impact customer satisfaction by minimizing disruptions, reducing waste, and ensuring every HelloFresh box meets our quality standards.
What you’ll do: The Recipe
- Ensure production is supplied on time and in full by monitoring inventory levels and aligning with demand
- Act as the main point of contact for suppliers, resolving delivery issues and managing communication throughout the week
- Identify and resolve operational deviations (e.g. OTIF issues), minimizing impact on customers and production
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as procurement, warehouse, production, product, and FSQA to ensure alignment and smooth execution
- Monitor product quality and delivery details (e.g. BBD, shortages, oversupply), and take action to reduce waste
- Analyze root causes of recurring issues and implement improvements to prevent future disruptions
- Track and report on supplier performance, using data and insights to drive continuous improvement
What you’ll bring: The Ingredients
- 1+ years of experience in supply chain, operations, or a production environment (food industry is a plus)
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset — you enjoy tackling challenges and finding practical solutions
- Strong analytical skills and confidence working with data (e.g. Excel, ERP/WMS systems, or similar tools)
- Ability to prioritize, multitask, and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills in Dutch and English and confidence working with multiple stakeholders
- A continuous improvement mindset and a natural sense of ownership
