Junior Electrical design Engineer (Immediate Joining)

The company prides itself on delivering high\-quality designs tailored to meet clients' specific requirements across various industries. **Role Description** The Junior Electrical Design Engineer will be responsible for assisting in the design and development of electrical systems for a variety of projects. Day\-to\-day tasks include creating electrical system layouts, preparing technical drawings, performing system calculations, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to meet project specifications. This is a full\-time, on\-site role based in Dubai, UAE. **Qualifications** ·        Proficiency in Electrical Design and Design Engineering ·        Knowledge of Electrical Engineering principles and concepts ·        Understanding of Power Distribution systems and electricity fundamentals ·        Familiarity with CAD software and other design tools for creating technical drawings ·        Strong problem\-solving skills and attention to detail ·        Good communication and teamwork abilities ·        Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field ·        Prior experience or internships in electrical design or MEP\-related projects are advantageous **Key Responsibilities** Assist senior engineers in the preparation of: ·        Load calculations and demand assessments ·        Power distribution layouts (LV/MV) ·        Lighting and small power layouts ·        Emergency and exit lighting systems ·        Earthing and lightning protection systems ·        ELV systems layouts (Data, CCTV, Access Control, SMATV, BMS) Prepare basic engineering calculations such as: ·        Electrical load schedules ·        Voltage drop calculations ·        Cable sizing ·        Circuit breaker selection ·        Short circuit calculations (under supervision) ·        Lux level calculations using Dialux/Relux ·        Preparation of Design Basis Reports (DBR) ·        Assist in preparing electrical drawings using **AutoCAD/Revit** ·        Support BIM coordination with other disciplines (HVAC, Plumbing, Architecture, Structure) ·        Update drawings based on design reviews and markups ·        Follow company CAD/BIM standards Assist in ensuring designs comply with: ·        DEWA / ADDC / SEWA / KSA standards (as applicable) ·        IEC / BS / NFPA / ASHRAE requirements ·        Local authority regulations and project specifications ·        Support in preparing technical submissions ·        Attend internal coordination meetings ·        Respond to comments from senior engineers ·        Assist in preparing tender and IFC documentation ·        Maintain project documentation and drawing registers ·        Follow company QA/QC procedures ·        Assist in preparation of BOQs and technical specifications Job Requirements: ·        Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering. ·        Experience: Minimum 2 years in MEP Design with Dubai/UAE project experience. ·        Certifications: DEWA/ADDC/DM accreditation is an advantage. ·        Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of DEWA, ADDC, Dubai Civil Defense (DCD), and other UAE authority approvals. ·        Communication Skills: Ability to liaise with clients, consultants, and contractors effectively. ·        Valid UAE Driving License is a plus.
