Junior Data Scientist

**About the Role** * A motivated Junior Data Scientist is sought to support data\-driven decision\-making through analysis, modeling, and visualization. This role is ideal for someone early in their career who is eager to grow technical skills while working with real\-world datasets. **Key Responsibilities** * Collect, clean, and preprocess structured and unstructured data * Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends and insights * Build and evaluate predictive models using statistical and machine learning techniques * Create dashboards and visualizations to communicate findings clearly * Collaborate with cross\-functional teams to translate business questions into data solutions * Document processes, methodologies, and results **Required Qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field * 0–2 years of experience in data analysis or data science (internships included) * Proficiency in Python or R * Familiarity with SQL and working with relational databases * Basic understanding of machine learning concepts and libraries (e.g., scikit\-learn, pandas, NumPy) * Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, or matplotlib/seaborn) * Strong analytical thinking and problem\-solving skills **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) * Exposure to big data tools (e.g., Spark, Hadoop) * Knowledge of version control systems such as Git * Familiarity with A/B testing or statistical experimentation **Key Skills** * Data cleaning and preprocessing * Statistical analysis * Machine learning fundamentals * Data visualization and storytelling * Communication and collaboration **What Success Looks Like** * Delivering accurate and actionable insights from data * Building reliable models that support business decisions * Clearly communicating technical findings to non\-technical audiences * Continuously improving technical and analytical skills **Additional Information** * Must be authorized to work in the United States * Fully remote position with flexible working hours
