Our client Vivo Pakistan is looking for a Intern Maintenance Engineer \- Electrical Engineering in Islamabad
Vivo Pakistan welcomes motivated and dedicated individuals to join its after\-sales service team as an Intern Maintenance Engineer. This role is tailored for fresh graduates or students in their 4th semester and beyond of Electrical Engineering who seek practical exposure in troubleshooting and repair of mobile phone technical issues. The intern works closely with skilled engineers to develop essential skills in diagnosing hardware and software faults while delivering professional and clear communication to customers. This position emphasizes both independent problem\-solving and teamwork in a fast\-paced service environment, without the responsibility of managing a team. It offers a valuable foundation for those aspiring to establish a career in technical maintenance and customer support within the telecommunications industry.
The Intern Maintenance Engineer is instrumental in ensuring customer satisfaction by handling repair requests with accuracy and professionalism. The role demands careful documentation of repair activities and active participation in identifying common technical challenges to support improvements in maintenance procedures. The intern collaborates with internal departments and service consultants to improve workflow efficiency, maintain high service standards, and contribute to continuous quality enhancement. **Responsibilities**
* Receive mobile phones and related devices from customers and distributors for thorough examination, repair, and maintenance.
* Diagnose and troubleshoot device faults by utilizing technical manuals and guidance from senior engineers.
* Apply foundational electrical engineering knowledge to identify and resolve common hardware and software issues.
* Communicate clearly, professionally, and promptly with customers regarding repair progress, technical findings, and expected resolution timelines.
* Maintain accurate and detailed records of all repair and maintenance activities to ensure traceability and facilitate quality control.
* Assist in analyzing recurring technical problems and provide constructive feedback to enhance repair techniques and service protocols.
* Support service consultants during busy periods to ensure smooth and efficient customer service operations.
* Collaborate effectively with internal teams to optimize after\-sales service workflows and uphold high service quality standards.
* Continuously update technical skills and knowledge by studying product documentation and learning from experienced staff members.
* Perform additional duties assigned by management to support overall maintenance and after\-sales service objectives.
**Preferred**
* BS Electrical Engineering Fresh graduates or students enrolled in 4th semester and above can also apply
