Job Description
DXB Perfume is the UK’s leading distributor and retailer of premium Arabian fragrance brands. We operate across retail kiosks, wholesale distribution, e\-commerce, and franchise channels, with national and international growth plans. We are now hiring a commercially minded **HR Manager** to build and lead our people strategy during an exciting phase of expansion. This is not a transactional HR role. This is a growth\-enabling leadership position. The Role You will work closely with the Managing Director and senior leadership team to design scalable people systems that support: • Retail kiosk expansion • Franchise development • National account growth • Warehouse \& distribution operations • E\-commerce and head office teams You will be responsible for building structure, performance frameworks and accountability across the business. Key Responsibilities **People Strategy \& Structure** * Develop and implement a scalable HR strategy aligned with company growth * Design organisational structures for retail and franchise expansion * Support succession planning and leadership development - **Recruitment \& Talent** * Lead recruitment across retail, warehouse and head office * Build talent pipelines to support multi\-site expansion * Implement structured interview and onboarding processes - **Performance \& Accountability** * Introduce KPI\-driven appraisal systems * Align performance reviews with commercial objectives * Support managers in performance management and development **Retail \& Franchise Support** * Standardise contracts, commission and rota frameworks * Support franchise HR compliance * Develop retail training and service standards **Compliance \& Governance** * Ensure full UK employment law compliance * Manage policies, contracts, disciplinary and grievance processes * Reduce HR risk as the business scales **Compensation \& Reward** * Develop salary banding structures * Align incentives with performance targets * Benchmark senior roles competitively About You * 5\+ years’ HR experience (retail or multi\-site experience preferred) * Strong understanding of UK employment law * Commercial mindset — understands growth, margin and performance * Confident advising senior leadership * Experience scaling teams in high\-growth environments * Structured, process\-driven and solutions focused Why DXB Perfume? * Fast\-growing national fragrance business * Exclusive distribution partnerships * Retail, wholesale and franchise expansion * Direct influence on company structure and culture * Opportunity to build HR from the ground up
