This is a pivotal leadership role focused on strengthening employee experience, enhancing engagement, and driving HR operations that support a growing and evolving organization. You will work closely with senior leadership and lead a dedicated People and Culture team, ensuring employees across Canada and internationally feel supported, connected, and empowered. This is an opportunity to grow into a more senior leadership role while shaping the future of People and Culture within a supportive and evolving environment. **Your Responsibilities** • You’ll lead day\-to\-day People and Culture operations, ensuring consistent, people\-centric HR service delivery • You’ll drive employee engagement initiatives, gathering insights and turning feedback into meaningful action • You’ll support organizational strategy by translating priorities into clear HR programs and KPIs • You’ll oversee talent strategies including recruitment, retention, and workforce planning • You’ll coach and develop a team of HR professionals, fostering a collaborative and high\-performing culture • You’ll guide change management efforts, ensuring clear communication and smooth transitions across teams **Skills and Qualifications** • 6–8\+ years of progressive HR experience, including leadership of People and Culture functions • Strong knowledge of Canadian employment legislation and HR best practices • Proven experience in employee engagement, culture building, and organizational development • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to mentor and grow teams • Strong communication, emotional intelligence, and problem\-solving capabilities • Experience with HRIS platforms such as Workday is an asset • CHRP or CHRL designation, or working towards it, is considered an asset **Note from the Hiring Manager** We’re looking for someone who can bring both structure and empathy to our People and Culture function, someone who is comfortable navigating change while keeping people at the center of every decision. **Why Partner with Altis** If you’ve never worked with a staffing agency before, we make it easy.
