Human Resources Manager

Africell, the pan\-African mobile telecommunications company, is recruiting a HR Manager to be based in London, UK. **The role is responsible for:** **Strategic HR Support \& Business Partnering** * Support the Group Chief People Officer in executing HR strategy across African markets * Partner with local HR teams and business leaders to align people initiatives with business goals * Translate Group HR frameworks into practical, locally relevant solutions * Provide guidance on people\-related decision\-making across multiple countries **End\-to\-End HR Delivery** * Support and oversee the full employee lifecycle (recruitment, onboarding, performance, development, offboarding) * Provide hands\-on support and advisory to local HR teams on complex HR matters * Ensure consistency in HR policies, processes, and reporting across markets * Drive HR operational excellence and continuous improvement **Organizational Development \& Change** * Support organizational design initiatives aligned with evolving business needs * Assist with workforce planning, restructuring, and role optimization * Drive change management initiatives across markets * Support employee engagement programmes and culture\-building initiatives **Talent Acquisition \& Employer Branding** * Support local and regional recruitment strategies to attract top talent * Ensure alignment with Group recruitment standards and processes * Partner with local teams to strengthen Africell’s employer brand * Monitor recruitment metrics and drive improvements **Performance \& Talent Management** * Support the rollout and adoption of performance management frameworks * Drive a high\-performance culture through coaching and guidance to managers * Contribute to succession planning and leadership development initiatives * Support talent reviews and development planning across markets **Employee Relations \& Compliance** * Provide guidance on employee relations issues across different jurisdictions * Ensure compliance with local labor laws and Group policies * Support investigations, disciplinary processes, and conflict resolution * Strengthen relationships with key stakeholders including unions and regulators where applicable **HR Projects \& Systems** * Support implementation and optimization of HR systems and tools * Contribute to regional HR transformation and improvement projects * Monitor HR metrics and provide insights to support decision\-making You will work with the Human Resources teams to achieve the contribution to Africell’s mission of bringing affordable, fast, and secure mobile connectivity to millions of customers across Africa. The ideal applicant will be skilled and also have at least 8 years’ experience in: * HR systems * HR best practices and employment legislation across African markets * HR systems and data\-driven decision\-making * Talent management, organizational development, and employee relations * Stakeholder management and influencing skills * Ability to work across diverse cultural environments * Hands\-on, proactive, and solutions\-oriented * High level of resilience and adaptability * Analytical and problem\-solving capability * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * French or Portuguese will be advantageous **Why join Africell?** Working at Africell gives you the opportunity to be part of something big and meaningful.
