HR Manager - London Real Estate

HR Manager £55,000\~£60,000 base salary plus benefits and bonus London, on site 4\-5 days per week Velop is partnering with a respected London property developer known for high quality, design‑led projects and long‑standing relationships. We are looking for a HR Manager who brings calm judgment, strong organisation, and real care for the people experience. This role works closely with the HR Director and will act as their deputy across leadership and operational committees. It is a true generalist position, covering the full employee lifecycle and offering real influence, trust and visibility at senior level. The team is intentionally lean and stable, so this is not a role with a traditional upward career ladder. Instead, it offers autonomy, depth, and the chance to become a valued constant in a thoughtful and mature business. What you will be responsible for • Supporting and deputising for the HR Director • Managing HR operations from joiners to leavers and everything in between • Providing clear, confident guidance to experienced senior leaders • Managing ER, compliance, policies, contracts and documentation • Ensuring accuracy and consistency across all HR processes • Building steady, trusting relationships across the business What we are looking for • Strong attention to detail and pride in accuracy • Relationship‑focused and patient, with a calm and grounded style • Comfortable working autonomously in a small team • Confident supporting senior stakeholders • Generalist HR experience across the full employee lifecycle • Professional services or similar experience is preferred • Real estate experience is not needed If you are someone who values quality, trust and consistency, and you enjoy being the steady centre of a well‑run HR function, we would be pleased to hear from you.
