Job Description
**HR Generalist (HR Operations \& Payroll \- SaaS Environment)** **Experience:** 1 – 2 years **About The Role** We are looking for a proactive HR Generalist who can **independently manage recruitment, payroll coordination, and HRMS operations** . This role requires someone comfortable taking ownership in a fast\-paced SaaS environment and driving HR processes with minimal supervision. **Key Responsibilities** * Recruitment \& Hiring * Manage end\-to\-end recruitment for junior to mid\-level roles * Source candidates through LinkedIn, job portals, and other channels * Conduct initial screenings and coordinate interviews * Ensure a smooth and positive candidate experience * Payroll \& HR Operations * Own and manage monthly payroll inputs, validations, and coordination * Manage attendance, leave tracking, and employee records * Ensure accurate and timely HR data management * Handle the complete employee lifecycle (onboarding to exit formalities) * HRMS \& SaaS HR Management * Independently manage HRMS, especially Zoho People * Maintain and optimize employee data, workflows, and reports * Identify process gaps and drive improvements using HR tech * Ensure data accuracy and compliance through HR systems * Employee Engagement \& Support * Act as the first point of contact for employee queries * Support and execute engagement initiatives * Help maintain a positive and structured work environment * HR Processes \& Compliance * Ensure adherence to company policies and HR processes * Maintain documentation and compliance records * Support audits and HR reporting **Requirements** * Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field * 1 – 2 years of relevant HR experience * Hands\-on experience with Zoho People (mandatory) * Working knowledge of payroll processes * Strong communication and coordination skills **Preferred Skills** * Experience in a SaaS/startup environment * Familiarity with HR analytics/reporting * Ability to manage responsibilities independently * Proactive, detail\-oriented, and solution\-driven mindset **What We Offer** * High ownership and hands\-on exposure across HR functions * Fast\-paced, growth\-oriented work environment * Opportunity to build strong expertise in HR operations and systems Skills: payroll,hr operations,zoho people,saas,hrms
