The historic Tomales Hotel, a refreshed “rural\-meets\-modern” property, is looking for a Part\-Time Operations Manager to oversee daily operations and deliver an excellent guest experience. This is a hands\-on role ideal for an organized, proactive individual who enjoys both guest interaction and operational management.
🌟 Role Overview
You’ll manage day\-to\-day hotel operations, act as the main guest contact, and ensure the property is well\-maintained and running smoothly.
🔑 Key Responsibilities
* Manage reservations across platforms and prepare daily guest lists
* Coordinate check\-ins with welcome notes and room keys
* Handle guest queries and resolve issues professionally
* Inspect rooms post check\-out and coordinate cleaning schedules
* Oversee supplies, amenities, and reception upkeep
* Coordinate with vendors for maintenance and operations
* Add seasonal décor to enhance guest experience
* Share daily/weekly reports on operations and guest feedback
🎯 Requirements
* Experience in hospitality/property management preferred
* Strong organizational and communication skills
* Tech\-savvy with booking platforms
* Self\-driven, detail\-oriented, and customer\-focused
* Basic maintenance and décor skills are a plus
