**Responsibilities**
Tasks
* Develop and implement policies and procedures for daily operations
* Recruit and hire staff
* Supervise staff
* Conduct performance reviews
* Conduct training sessions
* Perform front desk duties
* Prepare budgets and monitor revenues and expenses
* Prepare marketing plans
* Implement marketing activities
* Arrange for and oversee maintenance activities
* Enforce policies and procedures
* Address customers' complaints or concerns
* Assist clients/guests with special needs
* Develop and implement business plans
* Establish work schedules
* Manage events
* Organize and maintain inventory
* Participate in marketing plans and implementation
* Negotiate with clients for catering or use of facilities
* Enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations
* Ensure health and safety regulations are followed
* Cost products and services
* Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports and related forms
* Provide customer service
* Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies
* Determine type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures
* Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations
