**Group Accounting Manager** **Birmingham** **£80 \- 90k \+ 25% Bonus (paid out last year) \+ 15% Pension Scheme** Trinity House Group are working with a growing and acquisitive business is looking to appoint a **Group Accounting Manager** to strengthen its central finance function. This is a highly visible role within the group structure, supporting leadership with accurate reporting, commercial insight and driving improvements across finance processes. Working closely with senior stakeholders across the business, you will play a key role in group reporting, acquisition accounting and leading finance transformation initiatives as the organisation continues to evolve. **Key Responsibilities** * Ownership of the Group reporting cycle, ensuring accurate and timely consolidated financial reporting * Managing consolidation across multiple entities and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards * Supporting acquisition accounting, including purchase price accounting and integration of newly acquired businesses into group reporting * Supporting elements of the budgeting and forecasting process * Producing high\-quality financial analysis and insight to support decision making * Driving process improvement and transformation initiatives across the finance function * Partnering with divisional finance teams to improve reporting consistency and financial controls * Supporting external audit and ensuring strong governance across group reporting **Candidate Profile** * Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA) * Strong technical accounting and group reporting experience * Comfortable working in a fast\-paced, evolving environment * Strong communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders **Why this role?** This position offers the opportunity to work in a highly strategic group finance environment with exposure to senior leadership, acquisitions and business transformation.
