General Manager Operations

**Job Title:** General Manager – Operations (Retreat) **Location:** Gandipet, Hyderabad **Experience:** 10–18 Years **Industry Preference:** Hospitality, Resorts, Wellness Retreats, Luxury Hotels **Job Summary:** We are looking for a dynamic and experienced **General Manager – Operations** to lead end\-to\-end operations of a premium retreat property. The role requires a strong hospitality leader with expertise in managing luxury guest experiences, operational excellence, and revenue optimization. **Key Responsibilities:** **1\. Operational Leadership** * Oversee daily operations of the retreat including front office, housekeeping, F\&B, wellness, and maintenance * Ensure seamless guest experience aligned with luxury hospitality standards **2\. Guest Experience \& Service Excellence** * Drive high guest satisfaction, reviews, and repeat business * Handle VIP guests, escalations, and personalized experiences **3\. Revenue \& Business Performance** * Achieve occupancy, ARR, and revenue targets * Work closely with sales \& marketing teams for retreats, events, and corporate bookings **4\. Team Leadership \& Development** * Lead, train, and mentor department heads and staff * Build a high\-performance, service\-oriented culture **5\. Cost \& Budget Management** * Control operational costs while maintaining quality standards * Manage budgets, P\&L, and financial planning **6\. Vendor \& Stakeholder Management** * Manage external vendors, consultants, and service partners * Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and legal standards **7\. Pre\-Opening / Process Setup (if applicable)** * Set up SOPs, systems, and operational workflows * Assist in hiring and training during pre\-opening phase **Key Requirements:** * Proven experience as a **GM / Resort Manager / Operations Head** in luxury hotels or retreats * Strong exposure to **F\&B operations, guest relations, and revenue management** * Experience in handling **corporate events, wellness retreats, or destination properties** * Excellent leadership, communication, and problem\-solving skills * Prefer candidates from **5\-star hotels or premium resort backgrounds** **Preferred Brands Background:** Candidates from brands like **Taj, Oberoi, Marriott, ITC Hotels, Hyatt, or premium boutique resorts** will be highly preferred.
