Built on the foundation of 18 years of wellness leadership, Ode Life is backed by a network of 130\+ premium spa outlets across India’s top airports, luxury hotels, and premium malls — serving over 1\.5 million existing customers who already trust us with their health and wellness. We are building the category. There is no comparable business in India today. THE ROLE We are hiring a General Manager to own the full commercial leadership of Ode Life — P\&L, partnerships, GTM, team, and growth strategy. This is a zero\-to\-one role with full business ownership. You will report directly to the Founder \& Group MD and operate with the authority and accountability of a business CEO. This is not a functional leadership role. This is not a consulting engagement. This is end\-to\-end business ownership — from subscription architecture to enterprise partnerships to public market readiness. You inherit it: ∙ 1,500,000\+ existing wellness customers across our network — warm, premium, wellness\-oriented — your subscription base from Day 1 ∙ 130\+ outlet locations in India’s most premium environments — airports, 5\-star hotels, and luxury malls — converting footfall to subscribers at near\-zero acquisition cost ∙ AI\-powered Health Passport technology already built and in deployment ∙ Strategic partnerships with diagnostics networks, telemedicine platforms, corporate HR platforms, and airport operators already in motion ∙ A proprietary supplement brand (Ode Rx) with 70%\+ gross margins ready for launch ∙ An institutional fundraise in progress — your commercial execution becomes the investment narrative ∙ A structured path to public markets — your ARR growth directly builds your equity value KEY RESPONSIBILITIES P\&L Ownership ∙ Own full revenue, cost, and margin accountability for Ode Life ∙ Set and deliver quarterly and annual ARR targets (Year 1 target: ₹50Cr; Year 3 target: ₹150Cr) ∙ Build and manage the financial model, unit economics, and board reporting cadence ∙ Drive blended gross margins above 70% across subscription, supplement, and B2B channels Subscription GTM ∙ Design and execute the full go\-to\-market strategy across B2C (direct consumer), B2B (corporate wellness), and digital D2C channels ∙ Convert the existing 1\.5 million customer base into Ode Life subscribers — this is your primary Year 1 mandate ∙ Build the acquisition, activation, retention, and expansion engine across all membership tiers ∙ Own CAC, LTV, churn, and Net Revenue Retention as core operating metrics Strategic Partnerships ∙ Lead, structure, and close enterprise partnerships across corporates, insurance companies, diagnostic networks, airport operators, and HR technology platforms ∙ Build the B2B corporate wellness channel — group memberships, HRMS\-embedded employee benefits, and insurance co\-brand programmes ∙ Operationalise signed partnerships and ensure commercial outcomes are delivered against agreed terms Ode Rx — Supplement Brand ∙ Own the commercial launch and scaling of Ode Rx — 8 Ayurvedic and functional supplement product lines ∙ Drive D2C subscription growth, corporate wellness distribution, and supplement protocol integration into the membership platform ∙ Build toward ₹35Cr ARR from the supplement channel within 12 months of launch Team Building ∙ Hire, lead, and develop the full commercial organisation — sales, partnerships, customer success, growth, and marketing ∙ Set OKRs, establish operating cadence, and build a performance culture ∙ Be a talent magnet — attract operators who want to build a category, not manage one Capital Formation Support ∙ Work alongside the Founder and CFO on institutional fundraise narrative and investor materials ∙ Build the ARR track record and unit economics story that supports a 30–50× revenue multiple at listing ∙ Represent the business in investor conversations, media, and industry forums WHAT YOU BRING Non\-Negotiable ∙ 8–15 years of commercial experience with a minimum of 3 years owning a full P\&L ∙ Proven track record scaling a subscription or recurring\-revenue business — SaaS, D2C, healthtech, fintech, or digital consumer ∙ Demonstrated ability to close and operationalise B2B enterprise partnerships at scale ∙ Experience hiring, managing, and retaining high\-performance commercial teams ∙ Strong financial fluency — comfortable with cohort analysis, LTV/CAC modelling, and board\-level reporting ∙ Genuine personal interest in health, longevity, or preventive wellness — this is non\-negotiable and will be assessed in the interview process ∙ Ability to operate at founder velocity in an ambiguous, high\-growth environment Strongly Preferred ∙ Prior experience in Indian D2C healthtech, nutraceuticals, wellness, or consumer health — companies such as Curefit, PharmEasy, 1mg, Healthkart, Nua, Kama Ayurveda, WOW Skin Science, Pristyn Care, ekincare, MediBuddy, Kapiva, Oziva, or equivalent ∙ Understanding of Ayurveda, Functional Medicine, or integrative health as a business and consumer category ∙ Existing network in Indian corporate HR, health insurance, diagnostics, or hospital sector ∙ MBA from IIM, ISB, XLRI, or international equivalent ∙ Prior experience with a pre\-IPO or publicly listed company commercial journey ∙ Familiarity with ABDM, telemedicine regulation, or FSSAI nutraceutical compliance ∙ Fluency in Telugu or Hindi as a working language SUCCESS METRICS — FIRST 90 DAYS ∙ Day 30: Full commercial strategy, channel prioritisation, quarterly ARR targets, and hiring plan presented to Founder ∙ Day 60: First paying Ode Life subscribers acquired. Ode Rx launch plan finalised. At least two enterprise partnerships advanced to term sheet stage. ∙ Day 90: Inaugural subscriber milestone achieved. First B2B corporate contract signed. Ode Rx live in market. Monthly reporting cadence established with board. COMPENSATION \& BENEFITS ∙ Base Salary: Competitive senior leadership band (commensurate with experience) ∙ Performance Bonus: 20–50% of base salary linked to ARR milestones ∙ ESOP: Meaningful equity participation structured for serious upside at public market listing ∙ Benefits: Full Ode Life membership (premium tier), annual longevity retreat, direct access to founder network.
