Job Description
We are looking for a General Manager to lead the pre\-opening and launch of a high\-energy, independent Gastro Pub. This is a role for a "street\-level" operator—someone who thrives in the grit and pace of a stand\-alone venue, not a corporate or hotel environment.
**Core Responsibilities**
* Manage Day to day operations in a high profile gastro pub / bar
* Blueprint to Bar: Build the SOPs, service standards, and training manuals from scratch.
* Agile P\&L Management: Full ownership of prime costs, labor, and COGS with a focus on independent high\-volume margins.
* Curation: Oversee a sophisticated beverage program (craft beer/spirits) and a high\-caliber food menu.

Develop a calendar of events and activations that drive local loyalty and "vibe."
**The Profile**
* Experience of managing a late night operating venue exceeding $600,000 mil monthly.
* Experience managing a casual venue capable of serving in excess of 1000 covers per day.
* Ability to independently strategize, network and execute an effective outlet action plan that positively grows revenue and reduces operational overspend.
* This role would suit a seasoned operator , who relishes a hands on, lead at the front approach.
* Knowledge of offerings associated with a product proud bar is essential as is a keen ability to incorporate such knowledge into the guest experience.
* A focus driven mindset that always understands that the customer experience is key to operational success.
* Advanced ability and passion for training , mentoring and advancing his or her team through a well developed succession plan.
* Entrepreneurial mind set that balances brand standards with a drive to constantly evolve the venue and its
* Capable of operating in an independent environment, wearing several hats and thus having a superior understanding of : Cost controls, P\&L management, Training \& development, KPIs and in\-house marketing.
* The ability to conceive, articulate and deliver, long term strategic plans that exceed budget expectations.
