**Hiring: GL Accounting Manager** Karachi, Pakistan We are looking for an experienced **GL Accounting Manager** to oversee financial accounting and tax compliance across Pakistan and the Gulf region. This is a senior\-level role ideal for professionals with strong expertise in accounting, taxation, and team management. 🎯 **Key Responsibilities** Financial Accounting \& Reporting * Manage monthly and annual financial closing processes * Maintain and ensure accuracy of the general ledger and sub\-ledgers * Perform balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies * Prepare and analyze financial reports and statements Statutory Compliance \& Audit * Prepare annual statutory financial statements * Coordinate with external auditors and manage audit processes * Ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements Tax Compliance \& Reporting * Oversee preparation and submission of tax returns across Pakistan and Gulf entities * Manage VAT, corporate tax, withholding tax, and payroll tax filings * Coordinate with tax advisors and handle tax audits and inspections * Support tax dispute resolution and maintain proper documentation Team Management \& Coordination * Lead and mentor a team of 2–3 accountants * Manage team performance and resolve operational issues * Collaborate with regional finance teams and external stakeholders (auditors, consultants, banks, authorities 📈 Additional Responsibilities * Support budgeting and forecasting activities * Oversee payroll, billing, receivables, payables, and cash processes * Ensure compliance with internal financial controls and processes * Handle ad\-hoc financial tasks as required 🧠 **Required Skills \& Experience** * Strong knowledge of IFRS and accounting principles * Proven experience with audits, tax filings, and financial reporting * Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel * Excellent communication skills in English
