It’s this blend of heritage, skill and passion that makes our shipyards unlike any other place in the world. **Who We Are Seeking** We are looking for a highly skilled and detaildriven Financial Reporting Manager who brings strong technical accounting expertise, exceptional analytical skills and a passion for continuous improvement. You will be confident in strengthening financial controls, implementing bestpractice processes and partnering with teams across the business. With a background in audit and experience within a fastpaced manufacturing environment, you’ll thrive on improving efficiency, mitigating risk and supporting robust financial reporting. If you’re a proactive qualified accountant who enjoys both handson work and strategic thinking, this role offers an exciting opportunity to make a real impact at Sunseeker. **A Day in the Life** No two days look the same in this role. You may begin with reviewing monthly close outputs, ensuring accuracy and compliance, before moving on to supporting statutory reporting or preparing for yearend audit deliverables. You’ll spend time partnering with operational teams to embed strong control awareness, documenting processes, mapping workflows and identifying opportunities for standardisation or automation. Throughout the day, you’ll be improving financial controls, managing adhoc projects, guiding junior team members and supporting tax compliance activitiesincluding yearend submissions and RDEC processes. Your role will balance technical reporting, stakeholder collaboration and improvementled initiatives that help drive the finance function forward. **Example Responsibilities Include** * Lead the design, implementation and continuous improvement of financial controls across key business processes. * Support the monthly and yearend financial close, ensuring accuracy, completeness and full compliance with reporting requirements. * Coordinate and support all aspects of the yearend audit, including planning, fieldwork and drafting audit deliverables. * Develop, update and maintain Accounting Policies, ensuring consistency and clarity across the organisation. * Document key finance processes, including process mapping and identification of efficiency improvements. * Prepare annual statutory accounts in line with relevant financial reporting frameworks. * Support yearend tax compliance, including preparation of required documentation and assisting with RDEC submissions. * Partner with operational teams to embed a strong culture of compliance, control awareness and financial discipline. * Lead or contribute to adhoc projects as required, supporting business needs and continuous improvement initiatives. * Provide guidance, coaching and support to junior team members to aid their development and capability growth. **To Be Considered for This Role You Should** * Be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent). * Bring strong experience in audit, financial controls, and identifying \& implementing process improvements. * Have a solid background in statutory and management reporting, supported by sound knowledge of financial reporting frameworks. * Ideally have experience within a manufacturing environment. * Possess good knowledge of SAP, or alternatively have experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools. * Demonstrate advanced skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word. * Show strong analytical capability with excellent attention to detail. * Have a continuous improvement mindset, with the confidence to challenge existing processes. * Be comfortable working in a fastpaced environment with competing priorities. * Bring a strong sense of ownership, accountability and the ability to support and guide junior team members. **Sunseeker employees benefit from** With 7 miles of golden sandy beaches, flanked on both sides by the New Forest National Park and the Jurassic Coast line, working in Poole for a genuinely premiere international brand offers an enviable opportunity to truly live the dream.
