We are seeking a
**Financial Controller**
to support the Finance Director in overseeing the financial management, reporting, and treasury operations of the firm. This role is ideal for a technically strong, hands\-on finance professional who enjoys working in a lean environment and wants to contribute to building and refining high\-quality finance processes.
You’ll play a key part in ensuring accurate financial operations and reporting across a globally diversified investment portfolio, as well as supporting the family office’s operational and philanthropic activities.
**Responsibilities:**
* Support all aspects of financial operations, including accounting, reporting, and treasury management.
* Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, management reports, and performance summaries across portfolio entities.
* Oversee daily transaction processing, payments, reconciliations, and cash flow monitoring.
* Assist with FP\&A functions, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support decision\-making and cost management.
* Maintain accounting records and internal controls in compliance with relevant standards and policies.
* Liaise with external auditors, tax, and legal advisors to support filings and compliance requirements.
* Monitor investment and operational expenses, ensuring timely reporting and accuracy.
* Support the implementation and continuous improvement of finance systems and processes.
* Help coordinate reporting for principals and external advisors, ensuring precision and confidentiality.
* Contribute to the development of scalable finance processes to support growth.
**Requirements:**
* Circa 5 years of post\-qualification experience in finance, accounting, or audit, ideally within investment management, family offices, or similar environments.
* University degree in finance/accounting or relevant technical field; plus Chartered Accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent).
* Strong technical understanding of IFRS fundamentals, complex instruments, valuation methodologies, and investment reporting.
* Excellent analytical, advanced financial modelling and Excel skills; familiarity with financial systems and reporting tools.
* Hands\-on and entrepreneurial mindset, with superior organisational and problem\-solving aptitude.
* Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable operating in a lean, fast\-moving environment.
* High integrity, discretion, and professionalism in handling sensitive information.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
* Experience in investment reporting spanning public and private asset classes is a strong plus.
