Job Description
**Overview** AtkinsRéalis transportation business has a great opportunity for a Finance Business Partner to join our team in the Infrastructure Market. The business partner is responsible for the financial management and oversight of sizeable regional sub\-market operations and as a member of the regional senior leadership team, will work closely with the Client Director(s), Regional Leads, Operations and Commercial. Your role * Month\-end accounts reviews, presentations and summary reporting. * Deep and challenging involvement in major project and framework reviews. * Management of cash\-flow, in particular by setting monthly billing targets, monitoring performance and providing support to the business and liaison with the SSF teams regarding billing and debt collection. * Key challenge to ensure that aged unbilled and debt balances are kept to an absolute minimum. * Working closely with the regional team and wider finance team to improve project profitability, cost control, change management and to ensure that lessons are learnt and shared across the whole portfolio of projects. * Pricing and bid support to the Market Team for major frameworks and significant stand alone opportunities, including review of bid models. * Liaison with Group Functions as appropriate on tax, treasury, commercial, cosec and accounting. * Liaison with and management of key external stakeholders, notably External Auditors to ensure prompt completion of year end statutory audit processes. * Understanding and ability to interpret and apply standard operating procedures within the market context. * Finance support relating to Market\-related investments. * Overhead control relating to the sub\-market business unit(s). **About You** * A qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent) or studying towards qualifications. * Analytical approach to problem solving, and decision\-making abilities. * Communication and presentation skills – be clear, concise and relevant in both the verbal and written form, whilst commanding the detail. * Natural team player – willing to co\-operate with others towards the same goals and objectives. * Understand and utilize information technology in the performance of work including Microsoft Office, Hyperion and Oracle. * Ability to prioritise and plan ahead to achieve objectives with strict deadlines. * Confident liaising with staff at all levels within the organisation. * Curious and challenging; seeking continuous improvement of processes and performance.
