Field Engineer

**Company Description** The Burrard\-Chilco Partnership, a joint venture partnership between EBC Inc., Pomerleau BC, and Spie Batignolles Canada, is constructing Metro Vancouver's Stanley Park Water Supply Tunnel Project. This $495 million infrastructure initiative will replace the 92\-year\-old Capilano Main No. 4, a critical water supply line beneath Vancouver’s historic Stanley Park. As a key infrastructure project, it aims to enhance water supply reliability for the Greater Vancouver area. The project highlights a commitment to innovation and excellence in engineering and construction. **Role Description** This is a full\-time, on\-site Field Engineer role based in the Greater Vancouver Metropolitan Area. The Field Engineer will oversee and execute technical and engineering tasks directly at the project site. Responsibilities include troubleshooting technical challenges, providing field service support, coordinating with the project management team, and ensuring the successful execution of the Stanley Park Water Supply Tunnel Project. This role will involve rotating day and night shifts. **Qualifications** * Minimum two years experience with tunnel or underground infrastructure projects. * Proficiency in troubleshooting and problem\-solving complex technical issues. * Strong communication skills to engage effectively with team members, stakeholders, and subcontractors. * Experience in field service and technical support to ensure operational efficiency on\-site. * Knowledge of project management principles to assist in coordinating schedules, resources, and deliverables. * Bachelor’s degree in Applied Science or Engineering, or a related field. * Familiarity with construction and engineering practices, particularly for large\-scale infrastructure projects. * Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, on\-site environment. **Contact** Please send a resume to Kevin Banek at: kevin.banek@ebcinc.com or 604\-817\-7802\.
