Female Accountant

The Accountant is responsible for managing financial records, billing, and compliance within a homecare organization. This role ensures accurate financial reporting, supports payroll and invoicing processes, and helps maintain regulatory compliance specific to healthcare services. Key Responsibilities: Financial Management: * Maintain accurate financial records and general ledger * Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements * Monitor cash flow, expenses, and budgets * Billing \& Revenue Cycle: * Handle client invoicing (private pay, insurance, or government programs) * Manage accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding payments * Coordinate with insurance providers and ensure correct claim submissions * Payroll Processing: * Process payroll for caregivers, nurses, and administrative staff * Track employee hours, overtime, and benefits * Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies Accounts Payable: * Manage vendor payments and expenses * Reconcile invoices and purchase orders * Maintain supplier records * Compliance \& Reporting: * Ensure compliance with healthcare financial regulations and tax laws * Prepare reports for audits and regulatory authorities * Assist in internal and external audits * Budgeting \& Forecasting: * Assist in developing annual budgets * Monitor financial performance against budget * Provide financial insights to management * Record Keeping: * Maintain organized financial documentation * Ensure confidentiality of patient and financial data Qualifications: * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field * Proven experience as an accountant (experience in healthcare/homecare preferred) * Knowledge of accounting software * Familiarity with healthcare billing systems is a plus * Strong understanding of financial regulations and tax compliance * Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
