Quick Fly Travels is seeking a detail\-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate possesses strong skills in financial reporting, accounts payable and receivable, and general ledger management. This role requires a solid understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping practices with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software. The Accountant at Quick Fly Travels is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and supporting day\-to\-day financial operations without managing a team. This position requires at least two years of relevant experience and a bachelors degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
The successful candidate analyzes financial data to identify discrepancies, assists in preparing financial statements, and helps streamline accounting processes. The role demands excellent problem\-solving capabilities and the ability to collaborate effectively within a dynamic travel company. Timely and accurate financial reporting will support management in making informed business decisions, contributing to the companys continued growth and success.
**Responsibilities**
* Maintain and update general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
* Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure timely payment and collections.
* Prepare financial reports such as balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements.
* Reconcile bank statements and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
* Ensure compliance with accounting principles, company policies, and relevant statutory requirements.
* Utilize accounting software and Microsoft Excel to track transactions and produce detailed financial reports.
* Analyze financial records to identify and resolve inconsistencies or errors.
* Support month\-end and year\-end closing processes to provide timely financial information.
* Assist in budget preparation, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
* Maintain proper documentation for audit purposes and cooperate with external auditors as required.
* Monitor internal controls and recommend improvements to enhance financial accuracy and operational efficiency.
* Collaborate with other departments to gather financial data and provide insights on financial performance.
