Expense Accountant

**Expense Accountant – Permanent \| London \| International Insurance Company** An international insurance company is seeking an **Expense Accountant** to own and deliver end‑to‑end expense processes across its UK entities. The role focuses on accurate reporting, strong financial controls and continuous improvement within a collaborative finance function. **Key Responsibilities** * Lead expense budgeting, forecasting and management reporting * Manage intercompany recharges, invoicing and reconciliations * Oversee employee expenses, policies and the corporate card scheme * Maintain accurate expense\-related ledger postings and documentation * Support statutory audits and drive process/automation improvements * Work closely with UK and international finance teams **Experience \& Skills** * Part‑qualified or newly qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CA) * Experience in expense management or purchase ledger * Financial services/insurance background desirable * Strong analytical skills and process‑improvement mindset * Confident communicator with stakeholder management experience This is a great opportunity for an ambitious candidate with 2\-3 years experience in accounting. £55,000 £60,000 \+ bonus \+ benefits
