**Position:** English Instructor **Type:** Hourly contract **Compensation:** $50–$90/hour **Location:** Remote **Commitment:** 10–40 hours/week **Role Responsibilities** * Teach online writing and communication courses using engaging, interactive teaching methodologies. * Develop comprehensive course materials, including syllabi, lesson plans, assignments, and handouts. * Evaluate and grade student assignments, papers, and coursework with timely, constructive feedback. * Facilitate dynamic virtual classroom discussions that promote critical thinking and collaboration. * Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and student performance. * Provide individualized academic support to strengthen students’ written and verbal communication skills. * Stay current with best practices in online education and integrate relevant digital tools into instruction. **Requirements** * Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, Communications, or a related field. * Proven experience teaching writing or communication courses, preferably online or in hybrid formats. * Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent attention to clarity and detail. * Experience creating digital course content and working with learning management systems (LMS). * Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple classes and student records. * Ability to foster an inclusive, supportive, and engaging virtual learning environment. * Commitment to student success and continuous professional development. **Application Process (Takes 20 Min)** * Upload resume * Interview (15 min) * Submit form
