We are a one\-stop\-shop for highly sophisticated clients with complex business models in 4 market segments: construction and infrastructure, operations and facility management, manufacturing as well as the vertical Multiples, which comprises projects in AI and vertical farming amongst others. **Role Overview** We are looking for an experienced Engineering Design Manager to lead technical engagement with specifiers and deliver high\-quality design support across construction and infrastructure projects. This role combines front\-end technical influence with back\-end engineering execution. You will work closely with consultants, design offices, and project stakeholders to drive specifications, while ensuring accurate and timely delivery of design calculations, drawings, and system solutions. The position is critical in positioning Würth as a trusted engineering partner by bridging design intent with practical site execution. **Key Responsibilities** **Technical Engagement \& Specification** * Build strong relationships with consultants, structural engineers, and design offices * Drive product specifications, approvals, and inclusion in project design stages * Conduct technical presentations, seminars, and workshops for specifiers * Influence design decisions by promoting engineered solutions and system\-based approaches **Design \& Engineering Execution** * Lead preparation of design calculations, technical drawings, and system proposals (anchors, fasteners, support systems, chemicals) * Review and validate engineering designs in line with international standards and project requirements * Support complex applications including post\-installed anchors, base plate design, and load calculations * Ensure timely and accurate delivery of all back\-office engineering outputs **Project \& Sales Support** * Collaborate closely with sales teams to support project acquisition and conversion * Provide technical input during pre\-sales and post\-sales stages * Assist in resolving on\-site technical challenges and application issues * Contribute to value engineering and cost optimization for clients **Process, Quality \& Leadership** * Establish strong internal processes for design quality, documentation, and approvals * Maintain high standards of engineering accuracy and compliance * Train and mentor junior engineers and design team members * Maintain proper documentation and reporting within CRM and internal systems **Qualification Criteria** * Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering * 7–10 years of experience in structural design, façade, anchoring systems, or construction engineering * Strong experience working with consultants and design offices in the UAE or GCC * Proficiency in design software and tools (e.g., AutoCAD, ETABS, SAFE, Hilti PROFIS or equivalent) * Solid understanding of international codes and standards (ACI, Eurocode, BS, etc.) * Proven experience in anchor design, structural connections, or related engineered systems * Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence specifiers * Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver under tight timelines * Commercial awareness with ability to support sales teams effectively * Fluency in English; Arabic is an advantage **Why Join Us** * Opportunity to work on complex, high\-value infrastructure and construction projects * Strong engineering\-driven environment with focus on technical excellence * Direct exposure to consultants, major developers, and key decision\-makers * Backed by the global strength and long\-term vision of the Würth Group * Clear growth path into technical leadership roles * Unicorn start\-up mentality within a global conglomerate * Resilient team of high performance * Cultural, team and task diversity * Fast personal and career growth• Flat hierarchy and 100% family business * Building a global group with strong local focus• Global travel: trade shows and business meetings from day 1\.
