Job Description
Our client, a leading US based start\-up is looking to hire a Mid\-level employment lawyer with 5\-8 years of work experience to support global employment law matters across multiple jurisdictions.
📍
**Hybrid \- Bangalore/Chennai/Pune**
\| Supporting
**US, EU, UK \& India**
This role will partner closely with
**HR, People Ops, and business leaders**
to provide practical legal advice on workforce\-related issues and help build compliant, scalable employment practices.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Advise on employment law matters across
**US, EU, UK, and India**
* Support
**hiring, performance management, employee relations, disciplinary matters, and terminations**
* Draft and review
**employment agreements, contractor agreements, and separation documents**
* Advise on
**cross\-border hiring, worker classification, remote work structures, and workforce changes**
* Review and help implement
**employment policies, handbooks, and internal processes**
* Partner with HR and external counsel on employment compliance and investigations
* Track key legal and regulatory developments across relevant jurisdictions
**What We’re Looking For**
* **5\+ years**
of experience in
**employment law**
* **Qualified lawyer in India**
* Strong exposure to
**multi\-jurisdiction employment advisory**
* Familiarity with
**Indian employment law**
and
**EU employment frameworks**
