Job Description: Elementary School Teacher Position Summary The Elementary School Teacher is responsible for planning and delivering instructional lessons that support the academic, social, and emotional development of students. The teacher creates a positive learning environment, implements curriculum standards, and works collaboratively with staff and families to support student success. **Essential Duties And Responsibilities** * Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with district and state curriculum standards. * Create a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student learning and respect. * Assess and monitor student progress using a variety of assessment tools and strategies. * Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students. * Manage classroom behavior and establish clear expectations for student conduct. * Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress and classroom activities. * Collaborate with other teachers, support staff, and administrators to improve instructional practices. * Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school activities. * Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and performance. * Support the social and emotional development of students. **Qualifications** * Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field. * Valid state teaching certification for elementary education. * Knowledge of instructional strategies, classroom management, and student assessment practices. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to work collaboratively with students, families, and school staff.
